A web-based (hosted) reservation system has it's good points: Access it from anywhere you can get to the internet Separate web interfaces for owners, housekeepers, travel agents, administrator, etc. An installed system has it's good points: The security of having your data stored in your office The privacy of not having your data jumbled up with another company's data Not a target for hackers You know who's checking in, even if your internet is down Much faster when working in the program from a workstation in the office That's what makes TCSReservations the best of BOTH worlds! Programming languages used to write web-based applications resemble writing for DOS. Very little is visually designed and not well-integrated.
